Rules of the forum:



The following rules are very important. They are the "law" of the forum and have to be respected at all times (yes, even if you don't agree with them.) Messages that do not follow one or more of these guidelines, run the risk to be edited, moved or deleted.

• Read this FAQ and rules and make sure you understand it.
  
• Do not post messages that infringe any third party's copyright, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary rights or rights of publicity or privacy.
  
• Do not post messages that the administrator consider to be disruptive, unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, hateful, racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable, or in violation of ANY law.
  
• Do not post messages that contain links or instructions to access illegal material, such as MP3s or (MP3-)filesharing systems.
  
• Do not post messages with the main purpose of getting a negative reaction ("trolling").
  
• Please do not start threads about politics or religion. It´s not “wrong” to write about this subjects, but have proven to be the source of trouble, fights and flame wars.

Stop, wait…there are one more rule. Use the search function before you open a new topic. There is no need to have 20 topics about 1 new album. We´ll close or delete topics which were posted before.


Now, that sounds like a lot of rules, doesn't it? Well, maybe they are, but the catch is that if you post in a normal way, you already follow all the rules automatically. It might take you even more time to deliberately break the rules than to follow them!


Breaking The Rules:
Breaking a rule once is OK. Twice too. No one's perfect. If you break the rules, or maybe it's better to say "if you make a mistake", your message(s) may be deleted, possibly without further notice, sometimes with an explanation. That's it.

However, sometimes people just don't want to follow the rules (because they either disagree, or they have the strange need to piss people off), or sometimes they can't follow the rules (because they refuse to read the FAQ and rules, or listen to the moderator's advice/requests, or because they're 5 years old). Those who continue breaking the rules, will be given a warning. Or two, if necessary. If this still doesn't help, the user will be banned from the board.
